The road to a comeback is hard. My weekly mileage is still low because I run once every other day instead twice a day 6 days a week like I used to.

I just got back from the longest run I’ve had in weeks (which wasn’t long) and I feel a slight shin splint again. I had a good pace going and my dog saw a cat so he pulled me into a akward sprint where I’m trying to stop. Afterwords my big toe felt like it had a blister so I know it is a combination of bad form and iregular pace.

It’s a frustrating feeling because I have to take mote time off running and I want to get back to long runs again fast.
